# Booking terms

Last updated: 3 November 2026

## About these terms

These terms apply when you book and pay for an intro call with Duck & Rubber Duck Ltd ("we", "us"). Duck & Rubber Duck Ltd is a limited company registered in Scotland, company number SC907928. Our registered office is 3F1, Third floor, 3 Hill Street, Edinburgh, EH2 3JP.

Email contact@duckrubberduck.com, or write to us at 3F1, Third floor, 3 Hill Street, Edinburgh, EH2 3JP.

Please read these terms before you pay. When you pay, you accept them. A consumer is a person who books for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. Some terms differ for consumers and businesses. We say where they do.

## The call

The intro call is a 30-minute video call on Google Meet with one of our consultants. We discuss your problem and whether we can help. The call does not include a written report or work after the call.

If you then want us to do work, we agree its scope and a fixed price with you in a separate written agreement.

## Price and payment

The call costs £150 plus VAT at 20%: £180 in total.

You book a time on our Google booking page and pay the full price by card through Stripe when you book. Our contract with you starts when you receive the booking confirmation by email.

## Changing or cancelling a booking

You can move your call to another available time, free of charge, up to 24 hours before it starts. To do this, use the link in your confirmation email or contact us.

If you are a business, you can cancel up to 24 hours before the call and get a full refund. If you cancel later, or do not join the call within 10 minutes of the start time, we do not give a refund.

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking, without giving a reason. If the call has not taken place, we refund the full price. If you book a call that takes place within those 14 days, you ask us to provide the service in the cancellation period, and you lose the right to cancel when the call has taken place. After the 14 days, the business rules above apply.

We refund within 14 days of your cancellation, to the card you paid with.

## How to cancel

Email contact@duckrubberduck.com, or write to us at 3F1, Third floor, 3 Hill Street, Edinburgh, EH2 3JP. Give your name, email address and the date and time of your booking. You can use this text: "I cancel my contract for the intro call booked on [date] for [date and time of call]. Name: [your name]. Email: [your email]."

## If we cancel

If we must cancel or move a call, we tell you as soon as possible. You can choose a new time or a full refund.

## Our responsibility

We provide the call with reasonable care and skill. What we say in the call is our view based on the information you give us in 30 minutes. You decide what to do with it.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud.

If you are a business, our total liability for the call is limited to the price you paid. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or data.

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill. These terms do not affect those rights.

## Complaints and governing law

If you are not happy with the call, please contact us. Email contact@duckrubberduck.com, or write to us at 3F1, Third floor, 3 Hill Street, Edinburgh, EH2 3JP.

Scots law applies to these terms, and the courts of Scotland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer who lives in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
